Comprehensive Financial Plan

We have a case study to do for Friday. This one is about making a current budget and then a recommended budget. But the selling factor is that I need to make the budget one that they *WANT* to do. The "client" has goals they want to work towards. My job in this case study is to do my very best to make it work without killing their lifestyle. So I can't tell them to cut all their spending to next to nothing because then what's the point in having any life at all?

When you look at your budget, even a simple one, income minus expenses should leave some left over for savings and goals. When I look at mine (remember, I'm a student) it's pretty dreary at times. When I started school I cut a lot of extra things out like cable and changed my cell phone plan. These are things I can relate to my potential future clients. It sucks but it's something you just have to do sometimes.

So off I go to work on my case study. I am hoping I can help my fake clients to lead a happy and prosperous fake life :-)
